Beautifully written, hugely impressive! Of course, the first book is necessary to understand the plot, but the story simply flows.The familiar characters Taylor and Maia and their friends are getting their due development, new players are awesome, expanding the universe and the villains are powerful and exciting.Looking forwards to the next (final?) book!
I will keep this short and sweet...if you like lesbian science fiction, you should give this series a try. The characters are great and the plot leaves you wanting more! I read each book in this series in one sitting! I can't wait for book 3! Great collaboration between the 2 authors. I would read anything they both worked on!
As a huge fan of Rae Magdon (and a growing fan of Michelle Magly), I was not at all disappointed with their latest novel. Starless Nights was another captivating story that, I think, surpassed many of the boundaries in the first book and was an amazing sequel to continue off the series.The end leaves us on the edge of our seats in another cliffhanger (just as the first one does), and will leave you wanting more. I absolutely cannot wait for the next part of their amazing series so I can find out how Taylor, Maia, and friends manage to survive the rest of their journey.

A taut plot filled with nonstop action. Clear, crisp prose, and a diverse cast of excellent characters. Thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.
The sequel to Dark Horizons, this book is just as good - if anything, the stakes are even higher in this one. It ends in a cliff-hanger so I can't wait for the third!! Just as great as the first, with everything that that one had to offer. I love this book!
book 3 when?
I really loved this book, especially after the set up in Dark Horizons. I'm really looking forward to the third one.The intrigue of the differences in aliens really grabbed me and I just ate the characters up. <3
